• No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies. We don't sell or share personal information.
• Server logs: like any website, our hosting provider may log technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. We don't use these logs to identify you.
• Map: the home page map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap's servers, which receive your IP address when the images load. See the OSMF privacy policy.
• Offline use: if you add Shark Weather to your home screen, your browser may save copies of pages on your device so they load without signal. Those copies stay on your device.
• Email: if you email us, we use your message only to reply.
• Children: the site is for a general audience and doesn't knowingly collect children's information.
• Live cams: some beach pages offer a YouTube live cam. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press “Play live cam”; then YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) receives your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Changes: we'll update this page if anything changes, for example if we ever add alerts or ads.
